Bruno Selected ULM President by 13-0-1 Vote

In what was obviously a scripted vote, Nick Bruno was today selected to be the next president of the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) by a thirteen to zero vote, with one abstention by the Board of Supervisors of the University of Louisiana System (ULS). The abstention was by student member Brook Sebren. The motion for Bruno was made by Jimmy Long and seconded by Gerald Hebert.

Regrettably, we had predicted this outcome earlier in the week. This is a very dark day for ULM.

The idiots in Baton Rouge really wanted to get this guy out of town,
and so we get him. We thought Sally was lone gone but Alas she still
    reigns.

Welcome to the cesspool of Louisiana Nicky Baby, we are all so excited
to see you and that lovely second wife of yours, I know all the big
shots like the Nicholson’s will be serving up the wine and steaks in order
to entertain you and make you believe you are welcome here.

Well, Nicky Baby, you are not welcome, I hope the faculty at ULM eat
your lunch and make every minute you are here just as unbearable as
    they can.

One of the previous members of the Foundation Board was quoted as
saying they needed that big house for the President to live in, that it was
built so that they could get an outstanding President when the time came to replace Kofer.

What happened? Must have been a brain fart across the room in Baton
    Rouge today.

I really could care less about the “university” itself, but I feel bad for the faculty and the students. It’s now apparent that the “fix” was in from the very beginning. What a bunch of idiots! I will consider it a personal tragedy if that’s the only place I can afford to send my daughter. I wouldn’t send my dog there.
