If RFD gets the contract for $645,604 to provide ambulance and rescue in the parish from the police jury, then they will get the $1.2 million that they asked for to provide those services. The $5 fee added on city utility bills for ambulance service is generating $600,000. Next month when electricity increases $26 a month, that will generate around $3.5 million. The mayor will have $4.5 – $5 million in revenue for the city and not one person, other than the mayor and city council members, will have a say in the citizens having to pay up. When is enough enough?

I see they moved it to the larger room. They must be expecting a crowd.

Those crowds need to continue showing up. These people need someone to help them take accountability for all the messes they make.

Police Jury: vote yes on the ambulance committee’s recommendation. I don’t like the cost compared to what we could have gotten this service for, but nevertheless it is still the best option for Lincoln Parish citizens.

Yep, city hung $120k for nearly a year, LPPJ didn’t accept it. Unbelievable how bad LPPJ has messed this up.
