The City seems determined to dive off into “internet service”. Not only is this competing with private businesses whic can and do provide equally acceptable service; it quite possibly commits the City ( ultimately: taxpayers) to debt for construction of physical facilities which will likely become obsolete very quickly due mostly to technological developments but also due to the short life of modern electronic systems.
