    Total chaos

  2. Rick Says:

If they would just listen to the two jurors who actually saw this coming last year.

    • Anonymous Says:

You mean the 2 who actually had the balls to say No to the board. One no longer there and probably the other will not run again. Everyone else just puppets.

    • Anonymous Says:

None of those jurors deserve to be defended

  3. Anonymous Says:

If only some of the library employees didn’t believe they were better than everyone else. Oh if only the public could hear how they talk about them.

    5. Consider and Take Action on Reduction in Force (RIF)

They’re about to have a RIF-off. Everybody show up and start singing. (Sorry…Pitch-Perfect allusion.)

How can I, as a citizen, laugh at such a pitiful display of governing? It’s called reaction formation. Laughing at the tragedy because of cognitive dissonance. Same thing happens when I think about the police jury. It’s a tragedy but I just have to laugh.

  5. Anonymous Says:

Most library boards operate as advisors, taking direct action rarely such as calling for tax elections and hiring directors. Lincoln’s board wants to run the library.

  6. Anonymous Says:

In reality we had a good enough library and never needed the new one. They should have left it alone years ago. Now there’s a huge half empty former grocery store with too many employees. And events side rarely used.

  7. Anonymous Says:

The Events Center side needs to go back to the PJ so they can use it for local government offices. One less thing for the library to worry about.

  8. Anonymous Says:

More governing offices are the LAST thing we need. We need to shrink the stink we’ve got now.
