Lake D’Arbonne Begins Falling

Lake D’Arbonne in Union Parish has begun slowly falling after reaching a crest of 88.89 feet at 5:00 PM yesterday.

The flood is the second highest level ever recorded since the lake was impounded in 1963. In April, 1991, the lake crested at 90.78 feet.

As of 2:45 AM today, the lake stood at 88.68 feet.
