  1. Bob Sherunkel Says:

What about a new facility for the golf team?
Shouldn’t the band have a place to dress out for games?
What about the swim team (who are current state champions)?

  2. Sad but true Says:

A personal friend was recently shafted by the Lincoln Parish School system. Evidently the powers that be in the administration have no problem with destroying someones livelihood over petty issues that could have been easily resolved by the school Principal.Evidently the Principal in this case has a personal vendetta against the Employee . Thank’s to the Jindal Administration, The Teachers have little to no chance of a fair shake in a dispute with a Principal and school Administration. I know that some Teachers need to be disciplined from time to time, But By the same token, Some Principals need discipline as well. Lincoln Parish has some exceptional Principals , But recently the Bad ones seem to be the subject of conversation. Recent complaints of shouting at Parents is another example of bad behavior !That also goes for the Assistant Principals. And one thing I have noticed recently is ,when a Principal is not successful at their job, The administration will create a job for them in the central office. Yes, Some lives and dreams are destroyed while others are protected by “the powers that be” ! I am gonna make a point to remember this come election time! And I’m not alone!
