someone needs to either whoop eddie’s butt or run against him, i think either option would work for most people in jackson parish

There is no need to “whoop” langston’s butt: just ask him to how close he and donnie brunson were while brunson was still “practicing” his shady law. If his wife doesn’t know at this time, the knowledge just might stir up a hornet’s nest in that particular househld.

    • Oldermann Says:

It is whup. Past tense of whip. A whoop is a sound. Why would you want to make a sound at Eddie’s butt?

      • Anonymous Says:

And the idiots just keep on a-coming out of the woodwork: it’s WHIP, WHIPPED or WHIPT, WHIPPING, and WHIPS. Yes, I was guilty of and extra “O” but it appears that you are the one that is guilty of “making a sound at Eddie’s butt.”

        • Oldermann Says:

You sound butthurt. Don’t get emotional on the internet, it does not become you.

What did Eddie do that was so bad ? The ones I think need to hear the views is the one that’s absent and the one that didn’t vote!

really, government needs to realize it gets it money from businesses and from people who work. we taxpayers(people who work) are getting fewer and fewer and government only gets bigger its only a matter of time before the balance is off then what?

They had it all PLANNED for the outcome. Why would Garrett miss such an important vote, and why would one abstain? Absolutely, so this stupidity would pass. They are all wolves in sheep’s clothing. As far as Langston, who would expect any less from that jerk.

and the fence rider like the one town of jonesboro had (ole sam)

We have the best police jury that money can buy, don’t you think.

  6. Anonymous Says:

Im glad the ones that do the work got the raise this time instead of the jerks giving it to them.

    • Anonymous Says:

Absolutely. However, do not be surprised when they “UP” their salary, too. Matter of time.

For those geographical regions in which there are landowners who pay the taxes for these raises, the police juror representatives did not vote for the raise, with the exception of Langston and the abstaining vote from Magee. Garrett did not show up so he is to be considered as an abstaining vote. All you landowners out there, you will keep paying more and more taxes to support the salaries and road maintenance and parish functions until you vote for police juror who will vote NO instead of abstaining and skipping out on the meetings.

  8. Anonymous Says:

You gotta give it up to Culpepper and Treadway. They voted NO!!!

  9. Oldman Says:

Thank you Todd and Lynn for voting no. Mr. Garrett,I surely
thought you would vote no on this one but somehow you decided it better not to show up,why? Ms. Amy Magee I don’t know so I’m undecided about your intentions unless you planed it this way. Eddie and Maxie,I believe the reason behind the way you voted is the black vote,by voting yes you locked in the black vote and reelection. No matter what some people would vote for the devil if it made them look good. This wheeling and dealing has to stop soon,we the voter are getting feed up with all this crap. “O’well Jackson Parish is getting the best politician money can buy”

Anonymous @ 6:49 (2nd poster on this story)……..would you enlighten us to what you are referring to about Brunson and Langston. They seem to be two peas in a pod. Both playing dirty in politics and I seem to get the idea in their personal lives. Elaborate for us, please?
