North Hodge Asst. Police Chief Accused of Sexual Acts

By Bob Walters, News Director – KNOE TV8

JACKSON PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News & JPSO) – Around 11:30 Tuesday morning Jackson Parish Sheriff Andy Brown arrested the North Hodge Assistant Police Chief.

Asst. Chief Gregg Coleman is accused of six counts of malfeasance in office. Those counts stem from Coleman allegedly committing obscene acts with women he reportedly wrote tickets to, or had arrested. The sheriff says there are five victims involved.

He says the acts include attempted oral sexual battery, false imprisonment and sexual battery. All five alleged victims are women.

Brown believes there may be other victims. He is asking anyone who has had contact with Coleman, and feels she is a victim, to call the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Several years ago, Jerry Springer was driving through JH, on his way to New Orleans. His car broke down and he had to spend 3 days here. Six months later The Jerry Springer came on the air for the first time. You figure it out!!

“All five alleged victims are women.” I wonder why they had to put that in there? Cause if one of the victims had been a man, well then watch out cause Jackson Parish is going down in flames.

As bad as this is I was happy that the officer was messing with women instead of men like the rest of the world. Now they need to punish him double because he is or was a law enforcement person and new better.

What was Coleman thinking. He should have known better to put his name and his job on the line. Surely, he was not ignorant enough to not know he would be found out. Shameful!

  9. Dan Burson Says:

Has Gregg Coleman been in trouble before? There need to be better back ground checks before hiring and new hires for policeman should not be able to carry a weapon until they finish training. When you give a gun and authority to someone you had better know that person real well.
