Simmons, Jackson Booked, Out on Bond

Janice Simmons and Franciscus Jackson were last week booked into the Jackson Parish Correctional Center and released on $5 thousand bond each, according to the arrest log of the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

I hope its a speedy trial, perjury is serous, if everyone was allowed to lie in court , the truth would never come out. this is why the court is so serious about the act of perjury.

Didn’t see a trial date or any mention of any type of court appearance. While this is a serious matter, I see a suspended sentence and some sort of small fine.

anyone think this guy will come to their aid also?

I hope they both have to serve some time. They need to be made examples of that you can not lie under oath and get a slap on the wrist. Otherwise, you’re right, there would be so much lying going on nothing would ever be justly tried!

Anybody hears anything from Thompson? How is he taking it? How are the other prisoners relating to him? Does he have any remorse about what he did now? How is he spending his time? Very strange that we have not heard anything in over a week about his situation.

It’s it so sad that those two people (Calahan not sure the other) would try and tell other people where to spend their monies and where to keep their monies. If someone would have told either of them what to do with theirs I bet they would not like that. I’m just thinking.

Not to worry!!!! I do not believe for a minute that people were STUPID enough to listen to their rant. But, who knows? There is a lot of naïve people roaming in Jonesboro as evidenced by their support of the now incarcerated one.

Probably havent heard anything from Thompson considering he is not here any longer.
He has been transported to Hunt Correctional in Baton Rouge. Then after processed he will be transferred and housed in Wade Correctional center in Homer.

Wonder where the other Louisiana mayors are housed? They can visit about old times.

Think there is a hand full….

Maybe they can all set up a pretend town in the correctional center and play Mayors…use monopoly money and take care of business as usual.

Out of office and out of town. Wow! What better things could have happened to the “Esteemed one?” You know the old saying “out of sight, out of mind.” Him show remorse? You must remember that (according to him) he did no wrong.

Since this blog is about Simmons & Jackson, how amazing is it that we find in today’s Jackson Independent the news article about their arrests, and then we turn a few pages and find their names listed under the ARREST records? How amazing is that considering Simmons is PURPORTED to be a pillar of the TJ. What happened Janice? Lied in a court of law, did you not?

Amazing………just amazing. Say it ain’t so, Joe! Oops, that statement is for the illustrious VP.

IS this the same Franciscus Jackson that is a Barber in Ruston?
