State auditor says film tax credits cost Louisiana $170 million in lost taxes in 2010

Louisiana Economic Development granted an estimated $196.8 million in motion picture credits, while the state received about $27 million in tax revenue from the program, according to the audit. The review was done to evaluate how the state measures the financial impact of the program and the way it is administered.

    Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a
    sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the
    shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally
    off topic but I had to tell someone!
