Sam Lamkin has a half-page ad in this week’s Jackson Independent refuting almost evry issue that Renee Stringer raised in her full-page ad last week. He also points out what he has attempted to get done, although admitting they have not been accomplished as yet. Heard a rumor that he was going to run for mayor in a couple of years, and if so, guess this is the first step.

      ..lumpkins has not a clue.

is that like the rumor he heard about the Police Department that he voted on the week before? Man, those rumors are tuff……..

    • hmmmmm Says:

Lumpkins is the biggest idiot and yet somehow I like him tonight. He finally admitted that the administration in charge when Ms. Stringer was on the council is the one that started all this mess. Thanks Lumpkins for admitting the Mayor is the problem. After all, Ms. Stringer was not on the council during any other administration than Leslie Thompson’s. ‘Bout time you manned up and admitted your idol is the cause of all of the problems.

Sam has put his foot in that one.Bet he knows who the Mayor was now.Blame Blame Blame! When are you going to get these roads fixed.

ole sam better stick to dealing with just dead folks, no biz running a town

  4. Anonymous Says:

james bradford is gonna spank sam and leslie

  5. Anonymous Says:

    I doubt it !!!

  6. Anonymous Says:

Sam is flat out so incompetant he makes the rest of them actually look like they know what they are doing.

He has not proved to the town that is capable of running a town. Agreeing with ole Les is only showing that he doesn’t have a clue with what is going on! Look at his voting record for the town…mostly he agrees with the mayor or is abstained from voting! Yea….good for the town, just what we need more of! No mind of his own!

I mean goodness, in two seperate incidents he raised questions about “rumors” that he had “no idea where they came from but were shocked to hear them” when they were in fact both issues he, himself, had voted to approve. If that doesnt speak very loudly about his credibility than I dont know what does!

My thought on reading Sam’s message in today’s JI was that he actually did NOT write that stuff, but ol’ Les put him up to it and then had Sam sign off as if he had indeed written it. Don’t think his constituents in his district would approve this letter from Sam.

    Wonder if I am correct!

sam is kin to me but i beleave he has sold out to leslie and the rest of the shit heads at city hall except renee.

I think it would have been better for Sam if he had never written or published that letter. It just let everybody know, if they hadn’t already found out by watching LPNO, exactly where he stands. Either votes for everything the mayor proposes or abstains, which serves the same purpose.
