Looks like Duck and Goss should get the message. Although, on Goss’s worst day, it’s still better than the alternative.

Excuse me, but I do not agree. Isn’t it true that Mr. Goss, upon campaigning for his first run 4 yrs. ago, said he was only in it for the money. This is a fact…….heard by human ears.

Personally, I cannot see anything I can put my finger on that Goss has done for his district. Even the mowing of the right-of-ways in his district was not done until just recently. Had to look at all the tall grass and uglyness of our road ways all year until he came up again for re-election……….then he got busy. Mowing needs to be done at least twice a year. This is so comical. We, his voter base, can see right through this mentality.

So, the voter base in District One says, “Go Todd Culpepper, go”! We look forward to you getting things done in the Quitman area and District One.

excuse me, but what did the other candidate do before during his tenure on the Jury except kiss up and backstab…..typical Jackson Parish politics………he was with the same group that was replaced when he was unelected the last time he ran……Goss has had no one to work with, not that he was all that, but at least he had common sense, something that is lacking in all the rest today.

If Culpepper goes in in Dist. 1, time will tell as to what he can and will do. At least he needs a chance to prove himself.

I realize they are all like two peas in a pod when it comes to politics and campaigning………they all make promises that they will eventually not keep.

I think we need to give Culpepper a chance. We know what Goss has done.

Where have you been? Culpepper was there before, before he got un-elected.

            • sunrisesunset Says:

Culpepper was in another district in the Parish way back when. I do not know what he did since I never was interested in that particular area.

My interest lies in District One.

If you are saying Culpepper was not a good juror back then, well maybe he has learned from those mistakes. Sometimes that is what it takes, and as a result he will be a better juror if he unseats Goss.

        from Goss

Looks like a lot of votes voted for a change! Perhaps Mr. Duck and Mr. Goss would like to withdraw from the run off and save some face.

Isn’t it true that it is asinine for anyone running for public office to even THINK of making a statement that he/she is in it for the money?

Goss is the only candidate that I have ever heard make such a statement, and I have followed politics for many years.

I think duck is using our tax money for his on things, just drive by his house and look at all the gravel that has been put in his fox pen, and he has done nothing for the community, only himself.

Don’t vote for any encumbent. We need change from the top and all the way down to local government. Unless they all show that they are for the people that they represent vote them out. I am tired of waiting for change for the common American people. (We, legalized, honest to goodness Americans are paying for them to represent us). If they don’t, vote them out. Give Todd a chance to show what he will do.
