Total Paid:$6,199,408.78

The check is drawn on the Silicon Valley Bank in Santa Clara, CA.

Maybe the State took a .2367% discount for early/quick payment on the V-Vehicle invoices. Surely those high dollar folks down at Piyushi’s Economic Development Trust wouldn’t let a weeks pay slip away.

  2. Ken Wade Says:

Don’t count the money until the check clears the Silicon Valley Bank! Also, don’t let the V-vehicle executives out of Louisiana until the debt is paid. Do we have enough room in our Correctional Facilities for them and the politicians who belived this fairy tale?

Walter–when the final history of this V-Vehicle fiasco is written, you should get a prominent mention as one of the primary movers behind getting this mess open to public scruitny. I suspect you have made a few lasting enemies over this thing, but be assured you have made a lot more lasting friends by your relentless quest to have the whole thing laid open to the public. Although the fight is probably not over, congratulations on the super job you have done thus far. All American and Louisiana tax-payers owe you a debt of gratitude.
