Ouachita Parish Police Jury Monday

The Ouachita Parish Police Jury (OPPJ) will meet Monday, September 17, 5:30 PM, Ouachita Parish court house, second floor.

Immediately after the regular jury meeting, the Finance Committee (committee of the whole) will meet to review amended 2012 and proposed 2013 budgets.

Looks like they are rolling up and/or raising several of the millages. So much for no new taxes

  Actually, most of the rates are trimmed a little bit. Compare last year’s rate with the ‘adjusted rate,’ which is what is in the ordinance to be voted upon.
