Of course the same folks opposing “roll forward” are the same ones hollering longest and loudest when they have to dodge a pothole, the dogcatcher doesn’t get to their house fast enough or the trash truck doesn’t pick up their leaf rakings fast enough to suit them. It’s just more of that “conservative BS” from those who want all the benefits of government but don’t want to pay for it.

They are the same jerks who voted for “the only fair tax” but now never bother to total up how much they’ve paid since it isn’t deductable on their IRS 1040. Or bitch about the condition of the highways when fuel taxes haven’t been raised in decades to pay for repairs and improvements and they are now driving a car that gets twice the mileage as the one they drove when the fuel tax rate rates were set. No doubt they are 95+% of the ‘publican persuasion.
