Unsafe drinking water means more sales for Kaye’s and Walmart, and less usage of Town of Jonesboro water. Net result — less income for town. It would be a good economic investment for the Town, if not for the health of its citizens, most of whom the mayor and council have little interest in, to correct any and all deficiencies in the water system. At least councilman Cottonham appears to have seen that, rom the remarks he made at a recent meeting.

I didn’t think my post was humorus. Won’t Alexander get some money for projects in the town or is he just a figurehead representative? Wait a minute! I bet all he thinks of is his guaranteed pension for life along with all of the medical benefits that you and I can’t afford to pay for. And what does he do to earn all of this – jack shit nothing.

I agree with Jose Jiminez the Astronaut. Let the FN’s have the town. Move all businesses to Hodge or where ever.

60 days to fix the problem? The CTIC has f***ed up the town during his tenure. I am certain that he hasnt a clue as how to fix the water tower without having to dip into his “rainy day” fund everyone says he has stashed away. Time to get an earmark from dear ole Rodney. But you better hurry, they are taking the entire month of October off to campaign and didn’t the repugnicants say something about making certain Obama was a one term president so that means nothing meaningful will be passed in the last six work days. Last solution: send the CTIC and the Dildo up to paint the tower and convince them that they need no safety gear. Maybe something good would happen. I know everyone can’t afford to do this but if all whites would just move out of Jonesboro and let the blacks have. In a year or so Jonesboro could be the Baker of the north. I want my home town to return to some semblance of its glorious past. I don’t want to give up but I have been reading about white after white after white that wants to run for mayor. The CTIC is already planning his victory party and during his next term maybe he will be able to get his stooges on the council to name his self-asorbed wife as the first lady of Jonesboro, but some time ago I heard that he wasn’t that much of a “lady.” Has anyone thought about getting the Registar of Voters to enact (if possible) a law that requires a special ID issued by that office and charge $100 for the ID?

Trust me when I say the FA does not need to be bothered with people coming to visit. He totally knows the condition of the town and what needs to be done. He also knows how it is much worse than anybody thought it was. Let the man work.
