The Town of Jonesboro’s Board of Aldermen will meet Tuesday, August 14, 6:00 PM, W. Richard Zuber City Hall, 128 Allen Avenue.

The meeting is likely to be not much more than a ceremonial function.
Since Fiscal Administrator William Ryder assumed control of the town’s finances last month, the town’s controversial mayor Leslie Thompson has been administratively neutered and no longer has significant decision-making authority in running the town.

Walter I had not heard your mother had passed away. She was a sweet lady and has been missed for several months now by friends and neighbors after she relocated to another town.

Any body want to bet whether the Rev Dill will post the entire meeting on you tube?
He did not post the meeting last time…quick to post that Roberts woman but not the meeting. Put a notice on there that if you wanted the meeting, contact him.

If he is recording on town owned equipment and being paid to attend the meetings, why is there not a website with the meetings available to everyone?
He has his own website ….sure seems like he could update the Jonesboro Town’s website to me.

Why would you think Rev Dill would REALLY want correct, factual information available to the public?
His posting of only the “Racial Slurs fly at Jonesboro meeting” clip shows his true colors! Stirring up hate not the love of Jesus.
Claims to be a preacher….yet is always creating division among the locals.
It is time for him to be history at Jonesboro…..let him move on to his next place to stir up smelly stuff!

A friend just messaged me and said that the FA is not present at the meeting. Mrs. Melba Holland is there though. Does the FA have the legal power to hire and fire at his discretion? I was just wondering how much authority he actually has.

If the FA isn’t in attendance can the board conduct any business? If they can’t then they should adjourn immediately after parking their asses around the table. Just my thought.

If “my thought” really believes that the business of the Town of Jonesboro is not every taxpayer’s business, then it means it is not his (or hers) either. Then whose is it?
