School Board Votes for “Plan A”

The Lincoln Parish School Board (LPSB) tonight voted unanimously to submit Ruston School District elementary student realignment “Plan A” to the U. S. Chief District Judge Robert “Robbie” James for approval.

The board also gave its approval to a new set of student transfer guidelines. Both the realignment plan and the transfer guidelines will go into effect for the 2012-2013 school year.

We will have additional reporting tomorrow.

The beginning of the end unless someone can stand up and contest this…This is wrong on so many levels yet I hear not a peep from the people of Ruston…pitiful really.

Np, listening is one of the best ways to learn. The worst ways to learn though is listening to those that either don’t inform/teach and just take a check. The problem here in not desegregation…actually thats the only good element, the problem is this particular plan. But the worst element is the method of no discourse and instead forcing it down the peoples throats.
